Harps Sets an Opening Date for Dave Ward Location

Harps Food Stores has set an open date for its new location at the corner of Dave Ward Drive and Country Club Road in Conway.

The 39,000 SF store will offer residents of Conway and the surrounding community, a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, including organics, along with USDA Prime beef, all natural pork, and poultry and seafood; deli and signature bakery products, fresh sushi as well as well-stocked grocery, health and beauty care, dairy and frozen departments. The store will also feature a Harps Express with gas pumps, and will be open to the public from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily.

Harps officials said the store will open March 12 at 10 a.m.

“This new store in Conway represents our continued commitment to serving local communities with quality products and exceptional service,” said Kim Eskew, Chairman and CEO of Harps Food Stores, in a news release announcing the opening.

The new Harps store will also offer curbside pickup and home delivery. Customers can take advantage of online ordering by visiting shop.harpsfood.com.

Harps is a 100% employee-owned company, which operates 147 stores in six states including Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Kansas. Harps is the largest employee owned company in the state of Arkansas. Harps was founded by Harvard and Floy Harp in Springdale, Arkansas in 1930. Since then, the company has grown to employ over 6,700 associates.
