Conway Earns Spot on U.S. News & World Report Best Places to Live

Conway has been named among the top places to live in the country by U.S. News & World Report, earning a ranking of No. 89.

It is the first time the City of Colleges has been named among the top 100 in the organization’s annual list of the top 250 cities in America.

U.S. News & World Report annually assesses 150 of the most populous U.S. metropolitan areas, utilizing a methodology that weighs four key indices: job market, value, quality of life, and desirability. These weights are influenced by a public survey designed to capture what qualities individuals prioritize when selecting a place to reside.

Conway garnered high marks across the indices, including affordability, livability, and job market.

U.S. News & World Report calculated the median home in Conway was just more than $245,000 while the national average is $370,489.

“Conway offers a lower cost of living compared to similarly sized cities,” the report said.
