Stan Hunt serves as senior project manager at Corco Construction, where he manages and executes commercial construction projects from pre-construction through close-out. He has worked for the company for four years. He said what he enjoys most about the job is helping a client accomplish their goals and see their dreams come true. What drew him to Corco was the opportunity to work with great people who understand the industry.
Hunt began his construction career as a laborer, working his way up through roles including foreman, equipment operator, and superintendent before reaching project management. He said that experience helps him understand the challenges skilled workers face on-site each day and create solutions that let everyone complete their tasks on schedule with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. His experience has also given him numerous opportunities to mentor and train younger employees in conflict resolution and organizational skills that will help them succeed in the future.
Hunt is originally from Russellville and calls Conway a thriving community full of opportunities he enjoys being part of. He graduated from Plainview-Rover High School and attended Arkansas Tech, but, as he puts it, learned just as much or more from a shovel.
