American Safeguard Insurance Adds Commercial Account Specialist 

American Safeguard Insurance has hired Saray Beard as a commercial account specialist. Beard will provide account support for commercial insurance clients across multiple states. 

Conway Corporation Announces Employee Promotions, Certifications 

Conway Corporation CEO Bret Carroll has been named a Cablefax 100 honoree by Cablefax Magazine for the third consecutive year. The publication provides coverage of business developments affecting the cable, broadband, and digital markets. 

Lee Tedford, water systems manager, earned his class IV wastewater certification from the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality. The certification is the top level of achievement for licensed wastewater operators in the state. A utility of Conway Corporation’s size is required to have at least one class IV certified operator available at any given time. Conway Corp now has 12 on staff. 

Blake Henderson and Kolt Weatherley were recently promoted to apprentice lineman 3. The employees are enrolled in a four-year apprentice program to become journeymen linemen and metermen through the Missouri Public Utility Alliance. 

Conway Regional Adds Endocrinologist for New Clinic 

Conway Regional Health System has hired endocrinologist Maria Javaid, M.D. who will provide services at its new Conway Regional Endocrinology and Diabetes Center at 525 Western Ave., Suite 303

Javaid completed an endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism fellowship at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She also completed her internal medicine residency at East Carolina University. 

First Service Bank Names New CFO and VPs 

First Service Bank has named a new chief financial officer and new vice presidents for strategic projects and planning, marketing, and human resources. 

Andy Grumbles was named the bank’s chief financial officer in March. He brings more than 25 years of operational, financial, and auditing roles for Walmart, Windstream Communications, Ernst & Young, and Arthur Andersen to the bank. 

Joyce Latham was named the bank’s vice president of strategic projects and planning. She worked previously at Windstream Communications. 

Kimberly Lynn has been named the bank’s vice president of human resources. She was most recently human resources manager and human resources director for the bank. 

Jon Patrom was named vice president of marketing. Patrom has worked 17 years at First Service Bank as a retail sales officer and marketing director. 

Mainstream Technologies Makes New Hires 

Mainstream Technologies has hired Tylor King as a senior managed services engineer. He will provide support for managed service clients, which can range from simple workstation issues to complex matters related to client servers and network infrastructure. 

Mainstream hired Mandy Tatom as delivery lead for their software solutions unit. In this newly created position, Tatom will be responsible for ensuring project requirements and deliverables are met in a timely manner. 

McMaster OT Earns Certification 

Angela Bishop, an occupational therapist at McMaster Physical Therapy Clinic, acquired her hand therapy certification. This designates her as a specialist in upper extremity conditions, including hand surgery rehabilitation. 

Osmar Garcia Joins Conway Corporation Board of Directors 

Osmar Garcia, CEO and co-founder of Garcia Wealth Management-Northwestern Mutual, has been added to Conway Corporation’s board of directors. He will serve a seven-year term.
