Spec Ops Gaming Lounge is relocating from Little Rock to downtown Conway. The lounge plans to be up and running at its Conway location in the Rogers Building at 1004 Oak St. in February.
Spec Ops offers a large variety of video games, including PC and console, for individuals and groups to come play. The Conway location will be outfitted with 18 PCs, virtual reality gaming, and six PlayStation 5s and six Xbox.
It will also host tournaments for popular titles like Super Smash Bros, League of Legends, Call of Duty, Fortnite, Madden NFL, NBA 2K and others. Information about tournaments will be released on Spec Ops’ social media page.
Founder and CEO Jesse Steelman said the Conway location would also offer food and drinks. The food menu will include burgers, wings and other popular bar-food items. Spec Ops plans to have a full bar that offers cocktails and mixed drinks.
Spec Ops will be open 3-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 3-11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 1-8 p.m. Sunday.
Kids under six must have a parent play with them. Kids from 7-15 are allowed to play but must have a parent present at all times. After 8 p.m., patrons must be 18 or older. Spec Ops also offers packages for birthday parties and private events. Details can be found on the website.
