Restaurant and hotel sales tax collections neared $6 million in 2022. The final number, more than $5.7 million, surpassed 2021 numbers by more than half a million.
Last year’s collections continued a recovery from a pandemic-low of just over $4 million in 2020. Restaurant collections totaled nearly $5.3 million and hotel collections surpassed $455,000. Here’s a year-over-year breakdown since 2020:
