American Safeguard Group, known as American Safeguard Insurance, announced Jan. 8 the acquisition of Clark Property Insurance in Jonesboro. The acquisition was effective Jan. 1.

American Safeguard Insurance is led by Jeff Standridge, chairman, and Jeremy Davis and Jason Smith, managing partners.

American Safeguard Insurance was founded more than two decades ago and has grown to more than 24 licensed agents and three locations in Conway, Mountain Home, and Jonesboro. It serves clients in more than 30 states.
