Westrock Coffee’s expansion into Conway has been recognized by Business Facilities as a recipient of its 2023 Deal of the Year Impact Awards.

Westrock’s expansion was recognized for social impact. Business Facilities Impact Award recognizes projects by category, including advanced manufacturing, aerospace, agri-tech, aviation, clean energy, food manufacturing, workforce, and more.

Westrock Coffee has announced economic development projects that will create more than 800 jobs in Conway and result in more than $300 million invested.

The first announcement came in December 2021 when Westrock Coffee announced the acquisition of the former Kimberly-Clark facility. It was the largest capital investment project, $250 million, in Conway’s history.

In January 2023, the company announced plans for a $70 million, 530,000-square-foot distribution center in the Conway Industrial Park. Once operational, Westrock Coffee will have more than one million square feet of operating space in Conway.
