Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway recently welcomed Trenda Ray, Ph.D., as the hospital’s new chief nursing officer.
Before joining Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway as CNO, Ray served for more than 12 years in various leadership roles at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, including serving as chief nursing officer. She also served for more than 10 years at Arkansas Children’s Hospital as an RN, later an APRN in the CVICU, and served as the Director for Clinical Operations in Ambulatory before leaving to join UAMS.

Conway Corp Chief Executive Officer Bret Carroll and Chief Marketing Officer Crystal Kemp have been named Cablefax 100 honorees by Cablefax Magazine.
Cablefax’s annual list salutes and ranks the most influential executives whose leadership continues to advance and elevate our industry. Carroll is being recognized for the fifth consecutive year while Kemp is a second-year honoree.
Carroll has been with Conway Corp for 25 years, serving as chief financial officer prior to being named chief executive officer in 2017.
Kemp joined Conway Corp in 2000 as marketing/communications coordinator and was promoted to marketing and public relations manager in 2010 and to her current role in April 2018.
The Conway Corp Board of Directors recently elected John Scherrey to serve a seven-year term beginning May 8, 2024. Scherrey is chief lending officer at Centennial Bank.
The board elects one director annually to serve a seven-year term. Other board members are Kateryna Pitchford, Kelley Erstine, Osmar Garcia, Jake Nabholz, Denise Perry and Reggie Rose.
Scherrey replaces Tom Courtway, whose term ended May 8, 2024.
