A 5,400-square-foot, 3-bed, 2-bath home situated on 20 acres on Acklin Gap Road in Conway was the most expensive home sold in Faulkner County in April. 

All five of the most expensive homes sold in Faulkner County in April were located in Conway. They averaged $819,000 and $198 per square foot. 

Nos. 2 and 3 both topped $800,000. A 4-bed, 4-bath home on Whistling Straits sold for $876,486. The 3,966-square-foot home sold for $221 per square foot. It was on the market for 56 days. 

Another 4-bed, 4-bath home — located on Pine Valley Drive — sold for $849,000 and more than $212 per square foot. It was on the market the longest of the top five homes at 214 days. 

Through April, the number of homes sold in Faulkner County is down four from 455 at this point last year. In Conway, the number of homes sold is down 19 from 314.  

Home sales are up $8.4 million to $131.3 million in Faulkner County, and up $3.3 million to $85.8 million in Conway through the first four months of 2024. 

The median home price in Faulkner County is $249,900 while the median price per square foot is $146.89. That is up from $235,000 and $143.69 per square foot a year ago. 

In Conway, the median home is priced at $247,000 and $148.83 per square foot. That is up from $221,900 and $142.86 per square foot last year.
