When tornadoes devastated Faulkner County a decade ago, Klaasmeyer personally led crews to provide round-the-clock generator support to the National Guard, reflecting his deep commitment to helping others. Despite his generosity, he remains humble, preferring not to draw attention to his contributions. 

Since starting his business in 1972, Klaasmeyer has employed hundreds of people, often offering second chances to individuals in need.
