When the pandemic hit in 2020, the jobs of Sara Long and her husband, Steven, were both jeopardized. The couple made the decision to not cede control of their family to anyone else, so began Top Notch Home Services.

Since then, the company has found its niche in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services, also known as HVAC, as Top Notch Heating & Air. As co-owner, Long oversees the backside of the business, as she calls it, handling office duties, call center employees, marketing, employee benefits, estimates, and more.

“I love being able to provide for our family and our employees and their families,” she said. “We truly believe int he whole employee. Our team is a hoot. They care for each other and encourage one another.”

Top Notch has been voted among the top HVAC providers by readers of AY Magazine and Arkansas Times multiple times since 2021. Long is a board member of United Way of Central Arkansas and First Presbyterian Child Development Center, and is a member of the Arkansas Women’s Network and Women’s Leadership Network.
