Ott Insurance became a cornerstone of the Conway community in 1902, when it was founded by G.L. Bahner. In 1948, the agency’s namesake and Conway land developer Robert L. Ott joined the business. Ott became a partner in 1954 and the sole owner in 1958. For decades, Ott was as committed to building the agency as he was to building the growth of Conway until his death in 1998. Although Ott sold the insurance agency prior to his passing, the agency continues to honor his legacy and the foundation he started in Conway while innovatively adapting to the insurance marketplace.
