The Ride, a popular, locally owned bike shop, is moving to downtown Conway in the EM building. The Ride will be located at 911 Chestnut St.

“We have always wanted to come downtown for many years,” said co-owner Erik Leamon in the business’s announcement video on social media. “We are excited about a new space and being downtown, and we feel like there is a different energy down here that will be a blessing for our store. And we feel like our store will bring its own energy to the area.”

To celebrate the move, The Ride is offering a 25% sale at its Meadowlake store at 2100 Meadowlake Road, Suite 2.

“It’s the biggest sale we have ever had at the store,” said co-owner Tara Leamon.

The sale will continue through the shop’s remaining days at its Meadowlake location. The Ride plans to be open downtown on Dec. 1.

The Ride opened in 2003 and has served all types of cyclists from new to veteran riders, road and mountain bikers, and recreation and transportation cyclists. Services provided by The Ride include bike repair maintenance, including standard tune ups, assembly packages, and race tune ups.
