First Security Bank has named Jon Ross Henderson as its market president for Conway. Henderson takes the helm from Johnny Adams, who retired this month after a 44-year career.

Henderson previously served as senior vice president and commercial loan officer. He has been a part of First Security since 2005.

He holds a bachelor’s from Arkansas Tech University, a master’s in business administration from the University of Central Arkansas, and is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.

Henderson has served on boards for the United Way of Central Arkansas, University of Central Arkansas Foundation, Arkansas Game & Fish Commission Foundation, Deliver Hope, Conway Christian School, and Conway Corporation.
