CBC Taps Duffy Guyton as VP for Advancement

Central Baptist College has promoted Duffy Guyton to vice president for advancement. The move was effective July 1.
Guyton will lead the college’s advancement operations, including fundraising, church relations and donor engagement. He brings to the position a diverse background in development, ministry, and higher education leadership.
“I am excited to appoint Duffy to this key leadership position,” said CBC President Jeremy Langley. “He is widely respected on the CBC campus and among the churches of the Baptist Missionary Association. His dedication to Christ-centered education and his ability to connect with donors, churches and alumni make him uniquely qualified to help advance our mission.”

“It is both a great honor and deeply humbling to be considered for this position,” Guyton said. “With 33 years of multifaceted ministry experience – ranging from local church leadership to higher education administration – my heart continues to beat for the people of God and His church. I am passionate about leading others in the area of biblical generosity, grounded in respect, honor, and through a heart of shepherding.”
