Paul Mauldin has built his career at Conway Regional Health System, where he serves as director of maintenance. In this role, he oversees facility management for the entire health system, ensuring operations run smoothly and reliably.
Mauldin began with Conway Regional more than 25 years ago, starting in high school with a summer job mowing the hospital lawns. What began as seasonal work grew into a lifelong career. Over time, he advanced through several positions including groundskeeper, maintenance technician and senior maintenance technician before stepping into his current leadership role.
He said the variety and problem-solving aspects of the job keep him motivated, noting that every day brings a new challenge. His long tenure is also rooted in the loyalty and family atmosphere he sees throughout the organization.
Originally from Quitman, Mauldin studied at Pulaski Technical College and earned a number of technical certifications. He has called Conway home for decades, valuing the relationships he has built during his career and the community that has supported him along the way.
