Tony Salter is the owner and master plumber of Salter, Inc., a Conway-based business he has been part of for 55 years. Born and raised in Conway, he began his career as an apprentice plumber in 1973, became a journeyman in 1977, and earned his master plumber license in 1989. He also holds credentials as a backflow prevention assembly tester, a licensed realtor, and a state commercial contractor.

Salter oversees plumbing projects for new construction, remodels, and residential and light commercial work while managing office operations, including staff supervision and finances. He says the most rewarding part of his work is helping the people he serves.

He has deep ties to the Conway community. Salter serves on the board of directors for the Museum of Automobiles, participates in the building and grounds committee at Central Baptist Church, and has donated to and helped build the ABS house at the University of Central Arkansas. His career reflects decades of skill, dedication, and a family tradition in plumbing that continues with his son.
