“The Conway housing market continues to be stable and attractive from First Security’s perspective.  We are seeing good activity and timely movement on speculative home sales in our portfolio along with a nice volume of owner occupied/presold construction projects.  There has been a nice uptick since the first of the year and snow event.  Mortgage rates continue to be attractive with plenty money readily available.  There is plenty of residential construction activity within the County.  However, we do see challenges with lot inventories to sustain activity within the City Limits.  It is anticipated that demand will filter out into the County.  Our housing market has historically been fortunate to not suffer volatile lows or highs. This year shouldn’t stray from that.  That continues to make this such a great place to be a home buyer, owner, builder, or banker.”
