When a tornado tore through Conway in 1965, Bob Kordsmeier saw an opportunity to help families rebuild and founded Kordsmeier Remodeling Service. The company is owned and operated today by his son, Ronnie, and Ronnie’s wife, Barbara, with three of their children, Alex, Zachary, and Chloe, representing its third generation working in the business today. 

Today, Kordsmeier Remodeling provides residential remodeling, renovation, repair, and plumbing services for homeowners and businesses in Conway and the surrounding area, including kitchen and bathroom remodels, additions, and interior and exterior renovations. Its greatest achievement is its longevity, having served the same community across multiple generations for more than 60 years. 

The company has sponsored and coached youth baseball and softball teams, supports Saint Joseph School and Church, and Bethlehem House. It has been named NARI’s Regional Contractor of the Year and has earned multiple Best of Faulkner County honors.
