Tacos 4 Life announced it is permanently closing its Dave Ward location. Its last day of operation is July 8.
Not to worry, owners Austin and Ashton Samuelson announced in a Facebook post its Oak Street location would remain open to quench Conway’s taco, queso, and guac cravings.
The Samuelsons will announce what’s next for Dave Ward Drive on July 12 on Facebook, calling the plans “new and fun.”
The Conway-based restaurant was founded in 2014 by the Samuelsons with a mission to serve hungry children across the world by providing a child’s meal — equivalent to $0.24 — for every taco, bowl, quesadilla, salad or nachos sold.
Tacos 4 Life now has 21 locations in six states. Each restaurant averages 1,000 meals per day. It surpassed 25 million donated meals last year, and now boasts nearly 31 million donated meals since its opening 9 years ago.
