Conway Corp Elects New Board Member 

The Conway Corp Board of Directors recently elected Kateryna Pitchford to serve a seven-year term beginning May 8, 2023. Pitchford is a business professor at Central Baptist College. 

She is currently serving as an advocate for Ukraine in Arkansas and is a member of the Conway Noon Rotary Club. Pitchford is a 2018 graduate of the Conway Area Leadership Institute and has received several leadership awards including the Professionalism Award at Central Baptist College, the Brazo Zulu Award from the Conway Noon Rotary Club and the Paul Harris Fellow award from Rotary International. 

Pitchford graduated from Dnipropetrovsk National University in Ukraine with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Labor Economics. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Harding University, a graduate certificate in sociology from Appalachian State University, and her Interdisciplinary Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership Studies from the University of Central Arkansas. 

The board elects one director annually to serve a seven-year term. Other board members are Tom Courtway, Kelley Erstine, Osmar Garcia, Jake Nabholz, Denise Perry and Reggie Rose. Pitchford replaces Lindsay Henderson, whose term ended in May 2023. 

Conway Corp Announces Promotions, Certifications 

Telecom Installer Trainee Chad Sayers has completed his Arkansas Security Alarm Association certification. This certification ensures technicians have completed the necessary training required by the Arkansas State Police. 

Conway Corp Utility Worker Apprentice Tyler Pierce recently earned his Class IV Water Distribution certification from the Arkansas Department of Health, the top level of achievement for licensed water distributors in the state. 

The requirements for Class IV Water Distribution certification include 96 hours of classroom training and passing the examination. 

Conway Corp Plant Operator Apprentice Aidan Casey recently earned his Class IV Water Treatment certification from the Arkansas Department of Health, the top level of achievement for licensed water plant operators in the state.

Telecom Installer Technician Brett Taylor has completed the Broadband Premise Installer Certification through the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers. He was promoted to Telecom Installer Technician 1 with the Conway Corp cable department. 

Telecom Business Class Services Technician Andrew Nelson recently completed two Courses: Voice Over IP Specialist and Broadband Wireless Specialist through the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers. He was promoted to Telecom Business Class Services Technician 4. 

Mainstream Technologies Hires Software Developer 

Mainstream Technologies has hired Tristan Ramsey as a software developer. Ramsey will be responsible for design, development, and deployment of custom applications.  

Ramsey comes to Mainstream Technologies from George’s Inc. In Springdale. He has a bachelor’s in computer science from the University of Arkansas.
