In just a few short months, Encore at Lewis Ranch has grown from a multi-family building project to a vibrant community. At its inception, the vision was to create something that was exceptional — a community for residents to be proud of, a place that would encapsulate all of the amenities necessary for its residents to share more than an address, a place where neighbors could become friends.
That vision came to life recently when residents from all backgrounds came together to enjoy the solar eclipse watch party from the roof-top deck. Residents enjoyed food from Cross Creek Sandwich Shop and Crumb and Canvas, played baggo, and took pictures of the total solar eclipse from an unmatched view.
The glistening pool has become the new summertime gathering spot and residents enjoy the convenience of grills provided for their use. One resident recently observed the camaraderie being shared by pool goers “as if they’d known each other for years.” The inviting community is a common point of conversation as residents mingle and enjoy building friendships with their neighbors.
In addition to the community, roof-top deck gatherings, and refreshing pool, Encore residents can also enjoy a game of shuffleboard with new-made friends while the steaks are on the grill, or benefit from a vigorous workout in the fitness room. Covered parking spaces provide protection from the hot summer sun and electric vehicle owners can charge their EVs right at home with one of the on-site charging stations.
Encore at Lewis Ranch is one of many communities owned and operated locally by Trinity Development Company, Inc. Trinity Development Company was founded by the late Robert L. and Patricia Ott who had a vision of building and developing the Conway area. That dream became a reality in the 1950s when they completed their first construction project, a small duplex with one side rented and the other side occupied by the young couple.
In 1977, the Otts incorporated the business and it became the hub for all of their development projects throughout Faulkner County, both residential and commercial.
Pickwicket, Saddletop, Scherman Oaks, and Windcrest are just a few of the subdivisions that still reflect their hard work and design. Townsend Centers, Saddletop Center, Salem Center, Scherman Heights Plaza, and numerous other commercial properties continue to be bustling centers of commerce in Conway.
Many of Conway’s residents have called June Beene, Westwood Garden, or High Point Park Apartments home, and these — as well as multiple other apartment communities — are now home for Conway’s newcomers.

After Bob’s passing in 1998, Trinity Development continued to grow with the help of his daughter, Joanna Rankin, her husband, Jim, and son, Adam Harrison.
“We can’t help but wonder how proud they would be if they were able to see the micro-community growing at Encore,” said Joanna Rankin.
Encore is still accepting applications. Encore is currently 53% occupied and 75% pre-leased. Construction of Phase 2 will begin later this year and will bring with it more perks.
Phase 2 will have a playground area that will provide a safe place to enjoy time together and for kids to burn off energy. Residents with pets will benefit from having both a dog park and a dog wash bay that doesn’t require any travel.
Lewis Ranch is just off Dave Ward Drive close to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Residents can dine close to home at Walk-Ons Sports Bistreaux, Texas Roadhouse, or Five Guys Burgers. ALDI, Sam’s Club, Academy Sports, Petco, and Ulta Beauty are moments away.
The new Maly’s Entertainment Center provides fun and entertainment for the entire family. Encore offers quick access to I-40, and within 5 minutes, residents can arrive at UCA, Hendrix, or Conway’s expanding downtown scene.
