Board game enthusiasts have a new spot to enjoy in Conway with the addition of Roll & Play. The shop is self-proclaimed to be a unique blend of food, specialty coffee, and all things nerd.  

Shop owner Adam Davis said the idea for Roll & Play came from a passion for creating a welcoming space where the community come hangout, learn a new game, or find something that speaks to their inner nerd. 

“We wanted to blend the vibrant energy of a cafe or coffee shop with the excitement and camaraderie of a board game store,” he said. “We are local to Conway and because it is our community, we are active in exploring different avenues to serve.” 

Roll & Play offers a wide variety of games, including classic board games like Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon, tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons, and many modern favorites like Catan, Ticket to Ride, and Pandemic. 

“People are always encouraged to come in and play games anytime we are open,” Davis said. “You can purchase from our extensive inventory, bring in your own game, or choose a game from our library to play for free during your visit.” 

Roll & Play will also host special events, tournaments, workshops, and game nights that provide structured opportunities for gameplay of all skill levels. For more information on game nights and special events, follow Roll & Play on social media. 

In addition to being a one-stop shop for anime, cosplay, trading card games, and much more, the shop offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Coffee served at Roll & Play is sourced from Big Cuppa Coffee in Morrilton. 

“There really is something for everyone at Roll & Play, which is what we set out to do,” Davis said. “We have created a one-stop shop for all things nerd and would love for everyone to join our community and experience the fun.”
