Lost Pizza Co., a Mississippi-based pizza joint, is coming to the Urban Loft Co. at 2600 College Ave. in Conway.

Restaurant co-franchisee Brad McDaniel said he and his wife, Sarah, plan to open the restaurant in December.

Lost Pizza Co. serves up “fresh ingredients and funky vibes daily,” according to its website. The menu includes starters like traditional and boneless wings, cheese sticks, tamales, fried ravioli, spinach and artichoke dip, and olive bread. Lost Pizza Co. also offers several salads, including house, chef, Greek, and Caesar.

The main attraction, the pizzas, include build-your-owns and specialty pizzas with names like Lucille, Kujo, Otis, El Diablo, Popeye, Islander, Fatboy Cheese Burger, Happy Hippie, Hot Chick, Pitboss, and Hector Taco Pie.

The shop also offers sandwiches and pasta dishes, in addition to a kids menu and desserts, including cinnamon sticks and dessert pizzas. Beer and wine will be served, McDaniel said.

McDaniel said a unique, popular offering at its locations in Jonesboro are tamales.

Lost Pizza Co. was founded in 2011 with its first store in Tupelo, Mississippi. Since then, it’s grown to 30 locations across Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, and Texas. Other Arkansas locations include Benton, Cabot, and Jonesboro.

McDaniel is a University of Central Arkansas graduate with years of experience in the restaurant industry, including TCBY and Sonic. He said he and his wife have longed to open a store in Conway and finally found the right opportunity with this development.

The micro loft apartment complex Lost Pizza Co. will call home is a 120-unit complex that will offer units ranging from 376 square feet to 588 square feet. The first floor of the project includes commercial space where Lost Pizza Co. will be located. The property is owned by Two Land Company, of Little Rock. The contractor on the project is Jetton General Contracting, of Little Rock.
