Zach Gardner serves as environmental coordinator in Conway Corporation’s Water Department, where he manages the Industrial Pretreatment Program, the FOG (Fats, Oils, and Grease) Program, and watershed management of Brewer Lake. His work focuses on helping protect Conway’s wastewater treatment and collection systems, public health, and local water resources. 

Gardner has worked for Conway Corporation for three years, having previously served as a damage prevention technician. He said what he enjoys most about the job is the variety of work that goes into protecting Brewer Lake and partnering with businesses to protect the wastewater system, and the reward of being part of a team that helps maintain reliable water and wastewater services. 

Gardner is from Bigelow, Arkansas, where he has lived his whole life, though he said he has spent much of that life working, trading, attending events, and building relationships in the Conway community, and has chosen to build his career there. He holds a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness and animal science from Arkansas Tech University.
