Conway Corp Employees Recognized 

Conway Corp was recognized for excellence in customer service when five of its cable technician professionals were awarded Customer Service Excellence Awards at the 2022 Mid-America Cable Show. 

Telecom Trouble Technician 2 Wesley Manion and Telecom Installer Technician 1 Lane McNew were recognized with Five Star awards in going the extra mile. Telecom Trouble Technician 2 James Buggs, Lead Telecom Trouble Technician Brian Robinson and Telecom Trouble Technician 2 Jake Stewart were honored with Four Star awards in going the extra mile. 

The Customer Service Excellence Award program was established by cable television professionals in 1986 to recognize and award customer care professional excellence in the cable television industry. 

Conway Corp Senior Foreman, Telecommunication Systems Tommy Nolen has earned the Certified Fiber Characterization Engineer (CFCE) certification from Fiber Insight after completing the required classroom and hands-on training and the certification examination. 

The CFCE certification provides a comprehensive background on fibers, network types and challenges faced on telecommunications networks. 

Conway Regional Health Foundation Names New Development Officer

Conway Regional Health System announced that Maegan Dyson has been named Chief Development Officer for the Conway Regional Health Foundation. Dyson began on Nov. 1 and will primarily be responsible for leading the fundraising arm for Conway Regional.

Dyson comes to Conway Regional from the University of Central Arkansas where she has 12 years of experience in higher education advancement, including athletics department annual giving and events, and major gift fundraising. Most recently, Dyson served as the assistant vice president of development for the UCA Office of Advancement. Dyson was the primary fundraiser for UCA’s new Integrated Health Sciences Building raising over $4.8 million for the facility.

Leo Cummings III Appointed to National Board 

Leo Cummings III has been appointed to the Institute of Organization Management’s national board of trustees.  

As a member of the trustees, Cummings will help set the strategic direction of Institute, the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and will take an active role in advancing Institute’s standard operating and curriculum policies. 

Cummings serves as the chamber’s director of sales and membership engagement. He has worked at the chamber since 2016.  

Jordan Ester Joins Chamber as Director of Development 

The Conway Area Chamber of Commerce has hired Jordan Ester as its director of development. He started in the role Dec. 1. 

Ester comes to the chamber from Centennial Bank where he served as a mortgage loan officer. He worked at Centennial Bank for six years and served in multiple roles, including as a teller and mortgage loan originator assistant. 

He graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2021 with a bachelor’s in finance.
