The lights wouldn’t come on each morning at First Security Bank without Brad Beck. At least that’s how his co-workers feel about the bank’s facilities manager and security officer. Beck keeps 11 buildings in the market running and secure, a job that can mean anything from swapping out a lightbulb to overseeing a full remodel. 

Beck is wrapping up his ninth year with First Security Bank. He’s held the facilities manager title from day one and picked up security officer duties six years ago. He enjoys that no two days look alike in his role, and he loves the people he works with every day. 

Beck grew up in Jonesboro and graduated from Arkansas State University. He and his wife landed in Conway back in 1992 after she wanted to move home following college. Before the bank, Beck worked in oilfield services, a career that kept him on the road and away from family more than he wanted. He was ready for something that would let him stay close to home, and leaving Arkansas altogether was never on the table. 

Outside of work, Beck serves as a 4-H leader with more than 50 kids enrolled in the Cloverleaf 4-H Club in Faulkner County.
